As Seen On The Joy of Bob Ross - A Happy Little Podcast®!

I've lived an amazing life and done some pretty epic things including meeting astronauts, being on TV, winning awards, and getting standing ovations.

But, this week something happened that was one of my life's Top 5 Most Epic Things To Ever Happen To Me - I was featured on The Joy of Bob Ross - A Happy Little Podcast®!

A few months ago I received an email from Joan Kowalski asking me if I would be willing to do a demonstration of how to paint a cabin on the podcast. Even though I am a Certified Bob Ross Instructor® I've actually never taught it to other people live.

There, the secret is out...

But I could not pass up an opportunity to pay tribute to Bob Ross, the TV painting instructor who has changed my life.

So, I agreed to do the episode. I must have practiced painting 20 or more cabins before it was interview day.

I had to take a half day off work in order to make time to do the interview justice. I got my home painting studio all cleaned up, polished, and camera-ready. Lights, camera, action!

I joined the Zoom account at my appointed time and was greeted by the show host, Ron Scalzo. Ron is so easy to talk to, personable, and welcoming. That's what makes him a great show host.

Ron started asking me questions about my life, how I grew up, how I became interested in art, and my journey to becoming a Certified Bob Ross Instructor.

After about 30 minutes of personal interview time, we got into the core of the episode which is a painting demonstration of how to paint a Bob Ross-style cabin.

A couple months have gone by since I originally did the episode, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the episode went live this week. So, it is my pleasure to share this episode of The Joy of Bob Ross - A Happy Little Podcast® featuring yours truly.

I hope you'll tune in and learn more about the story of how Bob Ross changed my life.
