We offer two options for private painting parties throughout the Denver metro area.

At Ethan's Gallery & Studio in Olde Town Arvada

Enjoy your private painting workshop surrounded by artwork in a welcoming gallery environment. Located in historic Olde Town Arvada, the gallery is a wonderful setting for a celebration. You can even plan lunch, dinner, or shopping in the neighborhood before or after your event.

Gallery events are subject to venue availability and group size.

At Your Location

Prefer to host your event at your office, clubhouse, community center, or another private venue? I'll bring the Bob Ross painting experience to you!

On-location workshops are a convenient option for corporate events, private celebrations, and groups who already have a gathering space. All we need is an appropriate indoor space with tables, chairs, and room for everyone to paint comfortably.

What to Expect at Your Private Painting Party

Our private Bob Ross® painting workshops are designed to be fun and approachable, even for complete beginners.

  • Approximately three hours of guided instruction with a Certified Ross Instructor®

  • All painting supplies included, so there's no need to purchase equipment

  • Step-by-step instruction using Bob Ross's Wet-on-Wet Technique®

  • A completed landscape painting for every participant to take home

  • A relaxed, encouraging atmosphere where everyone can enjoy the creative process

  • Price is $95 per person in the art gallery. Contact us for custom pricing for your private location and group size.

I'll handle the painting instruction, supplies, setup, and cleanup so you can focus on enjoying the occasion with your guests.

Every student follows the same demonstration, but no two paintings ever turn out exactly alike. That's part of the fun!

Cancellation Policy

Private party deposits are non-refundable but may be applied toward a future private party or public event.

No refunds will be issued if actual attendance is less than the final confirmed headcount.

In the event of severe weather, such as significant snowfall, you may reschedule your private party to another available date.

If your private party is canceled by Jen DeVore Richter due to unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
